We just loved reading how Nichole and Dale met; through a mutual friend that set them up on a blind date, to their romantic courtship, and finally to their sweet proposal of him asking for her hand in marriage in front of their families on Christmas morning! The ring he gave her was a beautiful 1930's European cut engagement ring.
There was a great balance of elegant vintage and casual throughout the whole day. Her look featured an elegant lace, cap-sleeved dress and gorgeous drop diamond earrings. Her bouquet featured soft peach, pink, white roses and peonies ornamented with a classic string of pearls designed by OK Florist.
The ceremony began at Summerville Presbyterian Church followed by the reception at the Carriage House at Magnolia Plantation. Premier Events did a wonderful job of bringing that timeless and vintage style to the reception. Even with the misty rain outside, the reception carried on a cozy and romantic feel. From the pearl details on the cake, created by Elaine's Events Cakes of Charleston to the soft palettes of the flower arrangements, to the lacy embroidered table clothes/runners. The guests and bridal party enjoyed a wonderful sit down dinner catered by Lowcountry Eats and danced the night away to music by East Coast Entertainment.
