Courtney & John | July 4, 2015 at The Legare Waring House

Courtney and John are NYC school teachers that share the same passion for education as well as each other! They chose the elegant Legare Waring House for their wedding and exchanged their vows under the picturesque Avenue of Oaks. Coordinated by Mike Winship of Winship Productions, the wedding featured a wonderfully cool and soft palette of light blue, soft pink, and stark white to highlight the theme of famous literary romances. Touches of whimsical and literary themes were also hinted in the reception including adorable Scrabble place cards at the tables and classic literature books for center pieces. During the ceremony, Courtney carried an elegant bouquet of all-white peonies and wore a gorgeous lace fit and flair gown with a classic sweetheart neckline by Pronovias. Aaron and Jillian Photography documented Courtney and John's from start to finish.

After the ceremony, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres were served under the tent next to the historic home. The cool and soft theme carried into the reception with beautiful peonies, succulents, hydrangeas, and roses for the reception centerpieces done by Miele Events. Guests enjoyed dinner provided by Cru Catering and dessert by Delicious Desserts. Afterwards the guests danced the night away with music provided by Darby Events. After a glorious night, guests lined up to see the couple exit with cute glow wands. The couple drove off into the night in a classic British car!
