After college, Melissa moved from her small town in Ohio to persue a new position. Little did she know through her new job, she would meet her future husband!
Their Kiawah Island celebration, snapped by MCG Photography and coordinated by Mandi Danker, began with the intimate ceremony on the Grand Lawn of the Sanctuary Hotel. A close friend of the couple officiated the ceremony. The color palette, which included peach, gold, and cream, couldn't have been better to work with the beach and warm sunshine of Kiawah Island. The peach color flowed so well from the bridesmaids dresses, groomsmen's ties, with pops of it in the bridal party flowers. Guests found their table cards to be embellished by adorable sand dollars with peach ribbon. The reception continued in the elegant Grand Oaks ballroom of the Sanctuary Hotel where the guests enjoyed a delicious seated dinner followed by dancing. The elegant wedding cake featured local Magnolia sugar flowers to tie in with the Lowcountry. As the evening drew to a close, the couple left off into the night with a long row of sparklers from the guests!
